Meet Our Board of Directors

 Mone't Smith is the Founder and CEO of The Circle of SistAhood. Mrs. Smith has a Associates in Arts, Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, and Master's of Arts  in Forensic Psychology. Mrs. Smith serves the community with her expertise and knowledge as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and a proud member of the Texas Counseling Association, National Black Counseling Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Incorporated, and Women's Business Council. Mrs. Smith values and loves serving the community in many positive ways. Mrs. Smith has over 15 years of  working with children, teens, and families in the social services field, mentorship, counseling, hospital settings, and advocacy aspects. Mrs. Smith's  vision and dream consists of helping save lives of individuals, breaking mental and emotional barriers , providing advocacy and safe spaces for teen girls while teaching and mentoring them. Mrs. Smith has the passion to assist teens with developing healthy skills sets for growth and development through the toughest years of life .

Chauntae Hollins serves as the Vice President and Director of Services. Mrs. Hollins holds a Master's degree in Counseling and serves as a Master Life Coach, Certified Professional Life Coach, and Certified Goal Success Coach. Mrs. Hollins has over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families in personal wellness, mentorship, advocacy, and in the social service field. Mrs. Hollins current work ethic include serving as a Supervisor for CASA ( Court Appointed Special Advocate) in the Dallas County, Texas area.  Mrs. Hollins owns and operates her own coaching and consulting business ( Chauntology Speaks). Mrs. Hollins also oversees  our parenting program to assist with healing our families as a whole. Mrs. Hollins trilled personality and  valuable knowledge acts as a great resource for our teens and families for our SistAhood! 

Dr. Shereah L. Taylor-Love serves as the Secretary. Dr. Taylor-Love is an accomplished educational leader with more than 20 years of experience in K–12 and higher education. As Dean of Human and Public Services at Tarrant County College, she is dedicated to student success, leadership development, and educational equity. 

Dr. Taylor-Love earned a Doctor of Education from Texas Wesleyan University in 2015. She holds multiple Texas Educator certifications, including elementary and middle school classroom teacher and principal. She has been recognized with numerous honors, including Professor of the Year, the Chancellor’s Award for Exemplary Teaching and the John and Suanne Roueche Excellence Award for outstanding contributions to higher education.

Dr. Taylor-Love brings invaluable expertise in education, mentorship, and youth development to The Circle of SistAhood. Her passion for empowering young women to become confident leaders and successful scholars makes her a tremendous asset to our organization and the girls we serve.

 Jennifer Hall serves as the Community & Impact Engagement Coordinator. Mrs. Hall is an accomplished Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Leader with more than 13 years of experience in talent management, workforce planning, leadership development, and organizational strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arkansas State University, a Master of Public Administration, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Strategic Leadership. Throughout her career, Jennifer has served in leadership roles across staffing, corporate recruiting, and human resources.

Jennifer brings valuable expertise in leadership development, career readiness, and professional growth to The Circle of SistAhood. Her experience mentoring and developing talent will help equip teen girls with the confidence, skills, and guidance needed to pursue educational and career opportunities, become effective leaders, and reach their full potential.

Britni Warren is our Treasurer. Ms. Warren holds an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences. Ms. Warren has over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults in the social and customer service sectors. Ms. Warren has over 10 years of experience working in the business field related to administration work, accounting,  and secretarial duties. Ms. Warren currently serves as an Executive Administrative Auditor Assistant  for the Henderson County Business Office. Ms. Warren is a  phenomenal woman that brings joy, peace, love, and laughter to our organization and in every room she walks in. Ms. Warren's excellent business oriented skills contribute  tremendously  to our organization. She has the biggest heart and compassion for working, advocating, and mentoring teens.

Jeannea Getwood- Busby serves as the Director of Volunteer Services. Mrs. Getwood-Busby is the Chief Programs Officer for Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region (CISDR) and has served the organization since 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Prairie View A&M University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Throughout her career, Jeannea has held numerous leadership roles focused on student success, program development, community engagement, staff leadership, and strategic partnerships.

Jeannea brings extensive experience in youth development, mentorship, community collaboration, and program leadership to The Circle of SistAhood. Her passion for helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their academic, personal, and career goals makes her a valuable asset to the organization. Through her expertise, Jeannea will help strengthen programming, expand community partnerships, and empower teen girls with the resources, support, and opportunities needed to thrive and become future leaders.
